IMAGE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS



To submit artwork to the 3rd Biennial "Artists of Art Salon" exhibition, you'll need to upload images of the artwork(s) that you are submitting to your on-line submission page.

This guide will walk you through the 3 step process.

Step 1: PREPARE YOUR IMAGES

Your images should be less than 2MB each (1MB is more than large enough). They should be between 1800 to 1900 pixels in their longest dimension. That way, multiple images will upload much faster, and there will be less chance of uploading issues.

You can use your own image editing software to reduce the size of your images, but if you don’t have image editing software, you can edit them with the FREE, on-line Pixlr image editing program by following these links.

Step 2: LOG IN

Log in to EXHIBITION SUBMISSIONS PAGE.

Choose the " Click/Tap here to upload images of the works you'd like to enter, or to revise existing submissions.”


Step 3: UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES

A) If this is the FIRST TIME YOU'VE SUBMITTED AN IMAGE for this exhibition, Click/Tap the "CREATE" Button to create a new submission record.

(If you've already submitted images, skip to ** IF YOU’VE ALREADY SUBMITTED IMAGES TO AN EXHIBITION **.)

Then, to add image(s):

1) Click/Tap on the "Add or Upload File(s)" link
2) Navigate to the image(s) that you want to upload on your computer.
3) Highlight the image that you want to upload and Click/Tap "Open".
NOTE: You can upload multiple images at one time by highlighting them all before you Click/Tap the "Open" button.

After your image(s) have finished uploading, enter the title, medium, dimensions, and sales price. This information will appear on the exhibition wall labels, and in the on-line gallery for each image.
If a work is not for sale, enter NFS in the sales price field and enter the retail value of the work in the retail value field. This is for insurance purposes only. NFS will appear on the wall label.
Click/Tap “Save”, then Click/Tap “Save” again (at the top or bottom of the page).

NOTE: After you’ve saved for the second time, you’ll only see one image in the list of exhibition entry records. If you want to see all of your submitted images, click the “Modify” link. You’ll be able to see all your images there. Please do not create a separate record for each image!

** IF YOU’VE ALREADY SUBMITTED IMAGES TO AN EXHIBITION **
Use the "Modify" link next to the submission record to access your submission, and then:
A) To remove unwanted images use the "Remove" link next to that image.
B) To submit additional images, use the “Add or Upload File(s)" link under the images.

C) To change an image title and/or other information, use the "Modify" link next to that image.
